이리디움 차세대 위성의 8차, 최종적인 발사가 한국시간으로 내일 2019년 1월 12일 0시 30분에 캘리포니아의 반데버그 공군기지에서 이뤄질 예정입니다.  기상상태의 영향으로 몇 일간 발사가 미루어지긴 했지만, 8차까지 총 75개의 이리디움 넥스트위성 교체의 긴 여정이 완료될 예정입니다.  

Iridium Communications, in partnership with SpaceX, is prepared to launch the final 10 Iridium^® NEXT satellites tomorrow, January 11^th. SpaceX will launch the eighth set of new satellites on a flight-proven Falcon 9 rocket destined for low Earth orbit.  The payload and the rocket have been transported to the launch pad, and the rocket is vertical for launch. The rocket has an instantaneous launch window scheduled for 7:31 am PST (15:31 UTC). 

Falcon 9’s first stage for the Iridium-8 mission previously supported the Telstar 18 VANTAGE mission in September 2018. Following stage separation, SpaceX will attempt to land Falcon 9’s first stage on the “Just Read the Instructions” droneship, which will be stationed in the Pacific Ocean
